Tiffany was tired of being overweight and unhappy. She wanted to become healthy and start to live a happier, more fulfilling life, so she decided to start losing weight.

“I decided to 100 percent commit to being DONE with ‘junk food’. No more candy bars, sodas, or other things alike. I went dairy-free and gluten-free.”

For some, cutting out food groups feels too restrictive, but drastically reducing her dairy intake led Tiffany to lose 20 pounds in the first 2 months and it completely transformed how she felt day to day.

Breakfast: Large protein shake with collagen, fruit, and cashew milk.
Lunch: Lean meat (ground turkey, chicken, etc.) with some veggies.
Dinner: Large salad with a dairy-free dressing and chicken.
Snacks: RXBars. Apple & peanut butter.

“I also like an apple and peanut butter, carrots, or some unprocessed food. I try to keep snacking to a minimum since it can add a bunch of unnecessary calories.”

As well as cutting out unnecessary snacking, Tiffany believes staying hydrated is another great way to keep hunger at bay and to feel better and healthier in general.

Drinking a ton of water is my go-to.”

Once Tiffany started eating healthier, she turned her attention to working out. She started with Insanity Max 30, a home workout system which helped her drop even more weight quickly.

“I paused a lot in the beginning just to breathe”

Tiffany modified any exercises that she wasn’t able to do and always put in as much effort as she could to get the most out of each workout.

With this training and exercise routine, she dropped 68 pounds and completely transformed her body. However, as well as the scale, she celebrated the fact that her clothes size went down to an S and she was no longer embarrassed to go shopping.

“When I would go shopping, I would always buy the XL of whatever it was and never try it on because I didn’t want to face that it might have been too small for me. I ended up with piles and piles of clothes that didn’t fit me that I was too ashamed to take back.”

Tiffany started an Instagram, @myadventuretofit, to help document her journey, stay motivated and to help her followers and inspire them to start their own weight loss regimes.

“People message me every single day and tell me that I’m their motivation. That they’re on their weight-loss journey because I made them believe they could reach their goals.”

She uses every message as a source of motivation to keep her own goals on track.

“I am setting an example for so many people, and it gives me purpose. I can’t let them down. I want everyone to achieve the change of life I have been so blessed to be able to achieve.”

If Tiffany could give you one piece of advice, it would be to keep a balance in your life and don’t restrict yourself.

Don’t diet. Eating healthy and keeping your body moving is what works. Starvation diets, diet pills, wraps — they’re all temporary. Solving the real problem will give you the real and permanent solution.”

Tiffany believes smart, healthy changes that you can do for the long term are the key to success, a fad diet or quick fix will never get you the results that you want for the rest of your life.
